Canary Wharf Woes

Working in Canary Wharf in a mixed blessing, the place is pretty cool and can be quite lively, but at the same time it has a tendency to be sterile. Having worked there now for almost a year and a half I’ve become pretty bored of the place, the same eateries every day, etc… I really miss working in Soho, which has awesome restaurants, parks, squares and a more arty fun way of life.
But the worst part of life in the wharf is the Jubilee line, which seems to me to be a hot spot for people jumping on the tracks. Almost every day you’re faced with either minor or major delays and packed tubes. Thankfully I have various tech podcasts and movies on my iPod touch to get me through the boredom, which used to be filled by reading metro or london lite, but I get my news from more… reliable sources. I do miss Nemi but you can get that online.
